We are a family run business based in Malton, York which was started by my father – John Dickson in 1958. Since 2000 I took over the business from my father. I am City & Guilds qualified and have over 30 years experience in the building trade. We provide a variety of services to enable you to release your dream project.

An extension was completed to a fantastic standard for me a few years ago which trebled the square footage of a small cottage with two new bedrooms, an en-suite, an extended kitchen, a living room that doubled in size with a new fireplace feature, and an orangery. I couldn’t recommend John Dickson & Son Builders enough.
Andy did a fantastic job of building my extension, which included knocking through the existing kitchen to the dining room. His work ethics are second to none, and I couldn’t be happier with the standard and quality of the work he has done.
